Sigma Alpha Lambda is all about service, achievement, and leadership.  In times of trouble, our chapters join together to help serve those less fortunate.
 
GWU Anna Orthwein Memorial Scholarship
The Anna Orthwein Memorial Scholarship is available throught the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences at George Washington University. This annual $10,000 award has been established by Mrs. Jayne Orthwein, Mr. Bill Orthwein, and Sigma Alpha Lambda.
 
SAL All Stars: Slugging Out Cancer
The centerpiece for Sigma Alpha Lambda’s Spring Semester of Service each year is Relay for Life - a night of celebration, remembrance and continued commitment to finding a cure for Cancer.

Outstanding Advisor
Hyon Chu Yi-Baker, Director of the Mosaic Crosscultural Center at San Jose State University, was recently named as the Sigma Alpha Lambda Outstanding Advisor.
