Leadership Opportunities

The most engaging and active leadership roles are filling the role of a Chapter officer. This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. Scholarships and Awards

Scholarships and Awards range from $100 to $5000 and are available for both undergraduate members as well as members furthering their academic endeavors through post-graduate study. Applications are available February 1st of each year and are due to the Scholarship Committee by April 30th. For more information, please view the Scholarship page.

Operation Christmas Child

The UNL chapter got together to assemble boxes for Operation Christmas Child. This is an annual project put on by Samaritan’s Purse where groups and individuals fill shoeboxes with small gifts which are delivered to needy children all over the world. Canned Food Drive

At a recent meeting, UNL members brought canned goods for their canned food drive. All the goods collected were to be given to Matt Talbot Kitchen, a local food pantry. A guest speaker from Matt Talbot Kitchen came to talk to the group about “Huskers Helping the Homeless,” a fundraiser they were doing before a UNL football game. (more…)
