Bringing Hope for Haiti
Sigma Alpha Lambda is all about service, achievement, and leadership.  In times of trouble, our chapters join together to help serve those less fortunate.   The earthquake in Haiti left the country without food, homes, and loved ones.  They are also left in great need of monetary donations, and chapters across the country are stepping up to get involved. 
 
How We are Helping
Sigma Alpha Lambda chapters are joining together around the country to raise monetary donations through the sale of commorative bracelets.  For each donation of $5.00, the donor will recive a red and blue "Bringing Hope for Haiti" bracelet pictured at the left.  Thus far, our chapters have pledged $8,000 in donations from their fundraising efforts. You can help by donating through your local chapter.
 
Joy in Hope
Donations received through this program will be directed to Joy in Hope, a relief program for Haiti working specifically in the Jacmel area.  This area has become a distribution point not only for aid but for temporary housing as well.  You can be confident that these donations are going to fill these needs in the most direct and immediate sense.  Joy in Hope is working hard not only to help Haiti now, but to create relationships that will establish long-term help for the country.  For more information on this organization, please visit www.joyinhope.org.
